Part-Time Faculty – Political Science

Position Summary

The School of Liberal Arts is looking for part-time faculty to teach Political Science courses in a face-to-face, in-person format during daytime hours on the Arnold Campus and to demonstrate experience with online learning management systems.

Responsibilities
  • Providing instruction in accordance with established curriculum and course outlines.
  • Assessing student progress toward learning objectives through formal and informal assessments.
  • Maintaining accurate records; meeting all required deadlines for submitting grades, attendance, and other requested information.
  • Adhering to safety procedures and departmental standards, maintaining appropriate professional conduct and ethics.
  • Teaching all scheduled classes.
Required Qualifications
  • A master’s degree in Political Science or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
  • One year of college-level teaching experience.
