, focusing on "push-in" services and inclusive support.
With a manageable and fluid caseload, you will have the opportunity to provide high-quality, individualized instruction to students across Elementary and High School levels.
Key Responsibilities- Inclusive Instruction: Primarily provide services within the general education setting, ensuring students have access to the core curriculum while receiving necessary modifications.
- Caseload Management: Oversee a fluid caseload of approximately 10–15 students
, focusing on those with OHI (Other Health Impairments), Learning Disabilities, Autism, and Language Impairments. - IEP Development: Draft, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) that drive student progress and compliance.
- Collaboration: Work closely with general education teachers, related service providers, and families to ensure a holistic approach to student success.
- Certification: Must hold a valid Maryland Special Education Teaching Certification
. - Licensure: Active MD State License required.
- Commitment: Ability to work a full-time schedule (5 days per week).
