Salary Range: $20.00 - $24.00 Hourly

We are a child development organization dedicated to protecting, educating, and nurturing children in care. The Lead Educator role expands a high-performing teacher beyond the classroom into leadership opportunities, balancing classroom excellence with operational awareness.

• Lead a classroom that delivers a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment
• Create and implement dynamic, age‑appropriate lesson plans aligned with Celebree curriculum
• Manage smooth and effective transitions and routines
• Maintain classroom compliance with MSDE-OCC regulations and brand standards
• Build strong relationships with families through clear, positive communication
• Support daily school operations and transitions, ensuring safety and supervision
• Identify opportunities for improvement within your classroom and others you may coach
• Assist leadership in maintaining compliance, safety, and consistency
• Step in as a leader of the building when needed
• Complete Celebree Careers Pathway Program

• Preschool Lead:
  Minimum 90 clock hrs in Child Development and Curriculum Planning plus 1 year of experience in a licensed preschool classroom (or equivalent). Requires 9 clock hrs of training in communicating with staff, parents, and the public. MD State Credential Level 5.
• Infant/Toddler Lead: 90 clock hrs in Child Development and Curriculum plus 45 clock hrs of Infant/Toddler Training OR 90 clock hrs Infant/Toddler Child Development and Curriculum. AA degree or college credit equivalent in Early Childhood Education or higher preferred. MD State Credential Level 5.
• School Age Lead: AA or credit equivalent degree in Elementary Education, Psychology, Child Development, Family Studies or similar discipline. Preference for 45 clock hrs Child Development (birth through school-age), 45 clock hrs Curriculum for School Age Care, 9 clock hrs of training in communication, and 400 hours of experience with school children or 1 year of college (30 semester hours). MD State Credential Level 5.
