Job OverviewThe Systems Engineer Level II is responsible for troubleshooting and maintaining all Operational Technology (OT) network connected devices, systems and applications within the Integrated Control System (ICS) environment and various Supervisory Controls and Data Acquisition (SCADA) and Energy Management Control Systems (EMCS). This can include upkeep on rack‑mounted network equipment such as UPS systems and static transfer switches, verifying sensors and values for HVAC and chilled water systems or monitoring and controls of switch‑gear and electrical distribution equipment.
The incumbent will have a demonstrated understanding of the design and features of a wide range of equipment to be able to direct work procedures and processes to junior staff while supporting the upkeep, reliability and accuracy of the IC network.

Salary Range: $112,000 - $122,400
ResponsibilitiesEssential Duties &
Job Functions:
- Support the integrity of the System Security Plan, creating Corrective Action Plans for issues identified and all supporting processes.
- Develop, finalize and submit all documentation as required to execute SCADA or EMCS work and illustrate full functionality with completion of work and testing.
- Troubleshooting and diagnosing low voltage controls and monitoring for various SCADA and EMCS systems.
- Setup and configure all manners of OT (Operational technology) equipment including network interface devices, controllers and associated sensors and metering.
- Support various groups internally and externally to repair, calibrate and confirm accuracy of data.
- Directing, mentoring and training junior personnel as needed.
- Record and update documentation for assets in the IC environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least 2 years of equivalent related experience or Associate’s degree in a related field and at least 4 years of equivalent related experience or in lieu of a degree, at least 7 years of equivalent related experience.
- Knowledge and experience with rack‑mounted electrical equipment, programmable automation controllers or relay‑based logic controls and associated methods of metering.
- Basic computer skills.
- Basic knowledge of various protocols found in Industrial environments (Modbus, DNP, SNMP, Bacnet, etc.).
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing and maintain good working relations.
- Ability to research, analyze, interpret and apply rules, regulations, and procedures to a variety of situations and to recommend timely solutions.
- U.S. Citizen.
- Ability to obtain and maintain the required intelligence community level clearance.
- Valid state driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to pass a pre‑hire background and drug screen.
- Ability to team lift up to 50 lbs.
