Position

Northrop Grumman Microelectronics Center (NGMC) within Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking an exceptionally talented, motivated, and creative Superconducting Process Integration Manager 2 for our Advanced Technology Lab (ATL) - located outside of Baltimore, Maryland - where we design, manufacture, and test semiconductor products for internal and commercial production customers as well as emerging technology programs.

This individual will be responsible for staffing, onboarding duties, personnel performance assessments, program interface and other functional duties for various personnel across multiple technologies and programs. Additionally, the role will involve technical leadership and supporting the team in strategic collaborative initiatives. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required, with the ideal candidate having developed collaboration and influence competencies. The successful candidate will also support program execution for programs within the Micro Systems Technologies portfolio.

Responsibilities
  • Staffing, onboarding duties, personnel performance assessments, program interface and other functional duties for personnel across multiple technologies and programs.

  • Provide technical leadership and support the team in strategic collaborative initiatives.

  • Support program execution for programs within the Micro Systems Technologies portfolio.

Basic Qualifications for Superconducting Process Integration Manager 2
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Material Science, Chemistry or related field with 8 years of related experience in a semiconductor fabrication foundry;
    Masters Degree with 5 years;
    PhD with 3 years, all with a broad understanding of process areas.

  • Prior Management or Leadership experience (team lead, project lead, IPT lead, etc.).

  • U.S. Citizenship required.

  • The ability to obtain and maintain a DoD TS/SCI clearance is required.

Preferred Qualifications for Superconducting Process Integration Manager 2
  • Active TS/SCI clearance

  • Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Material Science, Chemistry or related field

  • Experience in Device physics and Process Integration

  • Functional and program management experience

  • Understanding of electronic circuits, Statistical Process Control (SPC), quality control, and root cause analysis

Compensation and Benefits

Primary Level Salary Range: $ - $

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
