In this role, you’ll analyze complex local and wide area network systems, including planning, designing, evaluating, and configuring operating systems and protocol suites for virtualized and containerized systems. You’ll resolve difficult interoperability problems to obtain operation across host, hypervisor, and guest nodes. You’ll load and configure cloud servers and vendors such as Cisco or Juniper, or white box routers and switches, and support the acquisition of hardware and software and subcontractor services.

You’ll act as a technical project leader or provide work leadership to junior employees, as needed.

On our team, you’ll be involved in the full lifecycle of software projects, our technical capabilities, and product design. Working on an agile team of experts, you’ll perform reverse engineering and vulnerability analysis of various software problems. You’ll inform operational parameters for complex systems, as well as leverage artificial intelligence and machine learning to influence the delivery of your work. You’ll determine what the art of the possible is, and what can be done, and then you’ll bring it to life for your clients.

You Have:

• 8+ years of experience with providing technical support for the engineering and testing of complex software and hardware systems in the communication field
• Experience with network planning for telecommunications switches
• Experience with conducting integration and system level testing of telecommunications systems or platforms
• Experience with Kubernetes
• Experience with Cisco, Juniper or equivalent networking equipment
• Experience with VMWare, QEMU, KVM, or Docker
• Experience with Linux or Open Stack
• Knowledge of telephony and telecommunication
• Knowledge of networking services
• Knowledge of software defined networking
• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
• HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:

• Experience with vulnerability analysis and exploit development
• Experience with Python
• Experience with Assembly
• Memory safe low level programming experience such as Rust
• Knowledge of telecommunications architecture and protocols
• Cisco CCNA certification or equivalent
• Red Hat Certified Systems Administrator (RHCSA)

Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.

Compensation at Ever Watch is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $81.74 to $93.75 per hour. The estimate displayed represents the typical compensation range for this position and is just one component of Ever Watch’s total compensation package for employees.
