You will lead, coordinate, and execute civil engineering projects, ensuring client satisfaction, regulatory compliance, and financial performance. Responsibilities include managing project teams, developing cost estimates, overseeing design and permitting, mentoring junior staff, and maintaining health and safety standards.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Oversee day‑to‑day management of project teams, focusing on delivery, quality, financial performance, and health and safety.
  • Ensure projects meet client requirements, regulatory standards, and company policies.
  • Lead all phases of the project lifecycle, including cost estimating, scheduling, subcontractor coordination, staffing, and financial management.
  • Demonstrate technical competence and apply relevant codes and regulations.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams and field personnel to provide technical oversight and reinforce health and safety processes.
  • Communicate regularly and effectively with clients, partners, subcontractors, regulators, and stakeholders.
  • Mentor, coach, and support staff to promote knowledge transfer and high‑quality deliverables.
  • Plan and execute work in accordance with company and client health and safety requirements.
  • Lead or support technical evaluations, design efforts, permitting, contract document development, and construction procurement for civil and environmental projects.
  • Develop technical scopes of work and cost estimates for small‑to‑medium‑sized hydrology and hydraulics proposals.
  • Manage hydrologic & hydraulics modeling, analysis, and design deliverables using HEC‑HMS, HEC‑RAS, and AutoCAD Civil 3D.
  • Assign and manage technical tasks with an emphasis on quality, efficiency, schedule, and budget adherence.
Minimum Skills & Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • 8+ years of related experience.
  • Professional Engineer (P.E.) registration in at least one state; registration in multiple states or ability to obtain within a short time frame preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead project teams and deliver projects that meet client objectives.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and financial acumen.
  • Proficient computer literacy, including AutoCAD Civil 3D, HEC‑HMS, HEC‑RAS, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Project.
  • Civil and/or environmental engineering experience spanning the entire project lifecycle.
  • Proven experience preparing technical scopes of work and cost estimates.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to support clients, projects, and team collaboration.
Preferred Skills
  • Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • 2+ years of related project management, financial management, or task management experience.
  • Construction or construction management experience with civil and environmental projects.
  • OSHA 40‑Hour HAZWOPER or MSHA 40‑Hour Miner training and refresher updates.
  • Experience preparing regulatory permit applications and leading multidisciplinary teams on hydrology and hydraulics design projects.
Compensation & Benefits

Nationwide salary range: $105,000 – $135,000 annually, based on education, experience, and market conditions. Eligible for the company’s performance‑based bonus program and a sign‑on bonus.
