Job Overview

Amentum is hiring a Network/Electrical Engineer to support the Prototyping Integration Facility (PIF) of the Command, Control, Communication, Computers, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance Center (C5

ISR) at the Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD. The role focuses on designing and fabricating prototypes for C5

ISR operational prototypes integrated onto military weapon systems and platforms.

• Design and fabricate prototype/limited manufacturing programs for C5
  
  ISR systems.
• Provide technical contributions to the development of concepts and technical data packages.
• Oversee fabrication of hardware systems and ensure quality, safety, and logistics concerns are met.
• Prepare test plans to demonstrate effectiveness of design packages.
• Assess results of design and test phases and provide estimates for work and track expenditures.

• BS degree in Electrical Engineering or related scientific/technical discipline.
• Experience in all phases of hardware electrical circuit design, development, and documentation.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret Clearance (U.S. citizenship required).
• Technical expertise reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics.
• Ability to conduct preliminary designs, perform tests, take measurements, and perform system analyses or simulations.
• Apply standard practices and techniques in specific electrical engineering assignments.
• Assist CAD designers in developing electrical designs and prepare data/documentation when applicable.
• Instruct electronics technicians and junior engineers as required.
• Work independently with limited supervision.

• 5+ years serving as an engineer or equipment designer.
• Combination of Electrical and Mechanical experience.
• Hardware design, assembly, and test experience.
• Experience with design, development, or production of military equipment, preferably C5
  
  ISR systems.
• Robotics and/or Counter UAS experience.

Salary: $95,000 - $125,000
