Analyze, design, verify, validate, implement, apply and maintain software systems. Appropriately apply discrete mathematics, probability and statistics, and other relevant topics in computer science and supporting disciplines to complex software systems. Generalize techniques, as appropriate, to apply to multiple domains. Develop and provide appropriate documentation and training. Present briefings and demonstrations to stakeholders. Modernizing a legacy operational system using a microservices‑based architecture and cutting‑edge technologies.

This position is eligible for a $5,000 bonus! (Includes 20% SEP IRA contribution).

Due to federal contract requirements, United States citizenship and position‑appropriate security clearance is required (e.g. Active TS/SCI clearance with agency‑appropriate polygraph).

• Establishing a test framework and automated tests utilizing Playwright, Cucumber and Cyprus Cypress
• Being knowledgeable in microservices design & architecture, CI/CD, test frameworks and automation, Agile methodology.
• Executing load and performance testing, chaos testing, functional testing and end‑to‑end testing.
• Agile development and delivery of software.
• Professional communication and collaboration; engineers must communicate and collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.

• TS/SCI with agency‑appropriate polygraph.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.
• 3 years or more of professional experience; or 1 year of professional experience with a related Master’s degree.

• Playwright, Cucumber/Gherkin, JMeter, Swagger (or similar API tool), Selenium, Cypress, 508 testing tools (JAWS or NVDA)
• Software:
  Java, JavaScript, Python, Ansible
• Other: AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD

$71.73 – $96.45 an hour

Pay Range: $71.23 – $96.45 per hour. Hourly pay rates listed for this position serve as a general guideline and are not a guarantee of compensation. Compensation will vary depending upon factors including but not limited to government contract rates; education; relevant prior work experience, knowledge, skills, and competencies; certifications, and geographic location.
