We are currently accepting applications for a full-time Entry to Mid-level GIS Professional to join our Natural Resources Team. This position will support and assist our experienced Environmental Scientists with a wide variety natural resources survey, assessment, and permitting projects. Candidates must have experience with the ESRI Suite of Products including ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online. Experience with CAD software (AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or Bentley Micro Station) is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities include:
- Processing field data collected using GPS technologies and ESRI’s mobile applications, and integrating it into GIS and CAD formats
- Using ArcGIS software to edit geospatial data, perform spatial analysis, and produce maps
- Maintaining quality data management and organization
- Participating in natural resources field surveys including but not limited to wetland delineation, forest stand delineation, and tree survey
- Assisting with the preparation of technical reports
Candidates should have excellent problem solving and written/oral communication skills and be proficient in Microsoft applications such as Word, and Excel. Position requires a self-starter, with strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Willingness to participate in field work in a variety of environmental conditions is required.
Salary Range: $55,/year. CRI is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of salary range for this role. This range is determined by many factors including but not limited to experience, training, skill sets, interpersonal skills, internal salary equity, licensure and certifications, and other organizational needs. CRI will evaluate the specific skills and qualities of an individual candidate to determine the appropriate salary for that specific hire.
