A regional engineering company specializing in industrial design and construction management seeks a Sr. Electrical Engineer for Annapolis, MD. The successful candidate will lead the electrical group, manage staff, ensure quality control, and oversee project management and document review. The role includes assistance with process and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs) and instrumentation & control implementation.
Responsibilities- Power distribution
- Motor control
- PLC control system
- Control panels
- Lighting
- Facility conduit and wiring design
- Schematic and logic development
- Implementation of the National Electric Code
- AutoCAD usage
- Facility construction document and shop drawing review
- Facility testing and startup
- Minimum 6 years of industrial electrical design experience, preferably in water and wastewater applications
- Professional Engineer license in Maryland or ability to obtain
- Project management experience
- Strong focus on quality and attention to detail
