Signals System Engineer

Columbia Technology Partners is seeking a Systems Engineer to support the design, integration, testing, and deployment of data center solutions for satellite collection‑based systems. This role contributes to end‑to‑end systems engineering activities across hardware, software, network, and Radio Frequency (RF) components, including Hardware, Government Off‑The‑Shelf (GOTS), Commercial Off‑The‑Shelf (COTS), and LOPERS and/or TURNKEY solutions. The Systems Engineer will support mission‑critical communication and signal processing environments and collaborate closely within a multidisciplinary engineering team.

• Support the design, integration, testing, and deployment of data center solutions for satellite collection‑based systems utilizing Hardware, GOTS, COTS, and LOPERS and/or TURNKEY solutions.
• Contribute to systems engineering efforts across hardware, software, network, and RF components to ensure system performance, interoperability, and mission readiness.
• Assist with the development and integration of RF and signal processing systems for communication system applications.
• Support system requirements analysis, architecture development, verification, and validation activities.
• Participate in system integration, test execution, troubleshooting, and performance evaluation to ensure compliance with technical and mission requirements.
• Develop and maintain systems engineering documentation, including technical artifacts, test plans, interface control documents, and configuration management records.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional engineering teams, vendors, and stakeholders to resolve technical issues and support lifecycle sustainment and system integration activities.

• Minimum of seven (7) years of Systems Engineering experience on programs or contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or a related technical discipline. Five (5) additional years of Systems Engineering experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
