Position Summary
Sr Provider Compensation & Productivity Analyst reports to the Chief Operating Officer. The role provides advanced analytical support focused on physician and advanced practice provider productivity, compensation model administration, and medical group performance. Responsibilities include conducting complex analyses related to wRVU productivity, benchmarking, compensation reconciliation, and regulatory alignment, while partnering closely with medical group and clinical enterprise leadership to support data‑driven decision‑making.
EssentialJob Duties
- Analyze and provide recommendations on provider compensation structures and incentive plans to improve consistency, reduce organizational risk, and simplify processes.
- Support the Chief Operating Officer and participate in the Physician Compensation Committee (PCC), delivering analyses and insights to inform committee decisions.
- Interpret and administer compensation terms within Provider Employment Agreements and Professional Services Agreements to ensure accurate implementation.
- Provide analytical support for Fair Market Value (FMV) processes and ensure compensation arrangements align with regulatory and organizational requirements.
- Partner with service line and medical group leadership to perform complex analyses related to provider productivity and compensation performance.
- Oversee preparation, validation, and distribution of quarterly provider compensation reconciliations in accordance with employment agreements.
- Collaborate with external valuation firms and consultants to support FMV and Commercial Reasonableness reviews, including data collection and documentation.
- Monitor and analyze trends in provider compensation and productivity using industry benchmarks (e.g., MGMA, AMGA, Sullivan Cotter) and regional market data.
- Develop and deliver clear, accurate, and timely reports and dashboards to support leadership decision‑making.
- Provide compensation‑related analytical support for the annual clinical enterprise budgeting process.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Healthcare Administration, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in provider productivity analysis, physician compensation administration, or medical group financial analytics.
- Demonstrated experience working with physician compensation benchmarking sources such as MGMA, AMGA, and Sullivan Cotter (preferred).
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel with strong financial and data analysis skills.
- High level of discretion with the ability to manage confidential and sensitive information.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a fast‑paced environment with minimal supervision.

- Pay Range: $120,000 – $128,000 per year
