This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned Accounting Manager to apply their skills and knowledge in a dynamic and growing company. You’ll play a key role in driving our financial operations and contributing to our overall business strategy.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Accounting Manager to join our team in the Real Estate and Investment Management industry. This is a permanent, hybrid position, offering flexibility to work from both remotely and on-site. The successful candidate will oversee and manage the company’s accounting operations, including fund accounting, fund management, and asset management.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the accounting team to ensure accurate and timely financial close.
  • Oversee the maintenance of investor capital accounts and ensure all transactions are accurately recorded and reported.
  • Manage and oversee all aspects of fund accounting, including reconciliations, financial reporting, and audit coordination.
  • Handle foreign exchange entries and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness of accounting operations.
  • Collaborate with senior management to develop financial strategies and make recommendations based on financial analysis and projections.
  • Manage and monitor the company’s assets, ensuring they are correctly valued and accounted for.
  • Prepare and present financial reports to the management team, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies.
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal tax filings and reporting requirements.
  • Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. An advanced degree is preferred.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is required.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in an accounting management role, preferably in the Mortgage industry.
  • Proven experience with fund accounting, fund management, asset management, and maintaining investor capital accounts.
  • Strong knowledge of foreign exchange entries and financial close procedures.
  • Excellent analytical skills with a strong attention to detail.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present financial information clearly.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
