Join a respected advisory firm serving successful professionals, business owners, and retirees throughout the Mid‑Atlantic region
We are partnering with a growing wealth management firm seeking an experienced Service Advisor to work with an established client base. This role is ideal for a financial professional who enjoys financial planning, relationship management, and delivering exceptional client service.
Unlike many advisor positions, success in this role is not dependent upon bringing a large book of business. The firm has clients and is looking for an advisor who can deepen relationships, provide advice, and help clients navigate important financial decisions.
If you have an existing book of business, the firm is open to exploring how those relationships could be incorporated into your practice. If you don't, that's perfectly fine too.
What You’ll Do- Serve as the primary relationship manager for an established group of clients
- Conduct client review meetings and financial planning discussions
- Develop and implement financial planning recommendations
- Coordinate with internal specialists and support staff to ensure an exceptional client experience
- Respond to client questions regarding investments, retirement planning, and wealth management strategies
- Identify opportunities to deepen client relationships and generate referrals through outstanding service
- Maintain detailed client records and documentation
- 5‑10+ years of experience in wealth management, financial planning, private banking, or financial advisory services
- Strong relationship management and communication skills
- Passion for helping clients achieve their financial goals
- Experience conducting client meetings and presenting recommendations
- Working knowledge of retirement planning, investment management, and financial planning concepts
- Ability to build trust and credibility with high‑net‑worth clients
- CFP® certification preferred
- FINRA Series 7 and 66 (or equivalent) is required
- Existing client relationships or book of business welcomed but not required
- Experience working with affluent or high‑net‑worth clients
Many advisory firms expect advisors to spend a significant portion of their time prospecting and gathering assets.
This firm recognizes that some of the best advisors are relationship builders, planners, and trusted guides.
Here, you’ll have the opportunity to focus on what you do best: serving clients, delivering advice, and helping families make informed financial decisions.
