The Finance Manager is a full‑time, on‑site role based at Annapolis Nissan in Annapolis, MD. This role oversees all aspects of automotive finance and insurance (F&I) operations, including structuring finance and lease deals, presenting financing and protection products to customers, and securing approvals with lenders. The Finance Manager will review credit applications, prepare and verify all required documents, and ensure compliance with state, federal, and dealership policies.
Day‑to‑day responsibilities include collaborating with the sales and service teams, monitoring deal profitability, maintaining accurate records, and supporting customers by clearly explaining terms, options, and obligations. The role also involves analyzing financial performance, identifying opportunities to improve processes, and contributing to a positive, customer‑centered dealership culture.
- Strong automotive finance and insurance skills, including deal structuring, lender relations, and F&I product presentation.
- Knowledge of relevant legal, regulatory, and compliance requirements in automotive finance.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly.
- Experience working collaboratively with sales, service, and administrative teams in a fast‑paced environment.
- High level of integrity, ethical judgment, and professional conduct when handling customer and financial information.
- Comfort with dealership management systems and common office software; ability to learn new tools quickly.
- Prior experience as a Finance Manager or in automotive F&I strongly preferred; previous dealership experience is beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or a related field preferred, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Ability to work on‑site in Annapolis, MD, including evenings and weekends as business needs require.
