About the OpportunityA leading national ambulatory surgery center platform is seeking a Surgery Center Administrator to lead operations at a high-performing outpatient surgical facility in Annapolis, MD.
This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced healthcare operations leader to oversee all aspects of an ASC while partnering closely with physicians and clinical teams to drive quality, efficiency, and patient satisfaction.

The Surgery Center Administrator is responsible for the overall leadership and performance of the facility, including:
- Operational oversight
- Financial management and full P&L responsibility
- Regulatory compliance and accreditation standards
- Physician partnership and medical staff coordination
- Quality, safety, and patient experience initiatives
This leader works closely with the Governing Board, Medical Staff, and corporate partners to ensure consistent operations and sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities- Lead daily facility operations (administrative, clinical support, and business functions)
- Develop and manage operating, staffing, and capital budgets
- Maintain full P&L responsibility and financial oversight
- Monitor financial performance and mitigate operational risks
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and safety standards
- Oversee staffing, workforce planning, and employee performance management
- Serve as liaison between Governing Board, Medical Staff, and corporate leadership
- Support physician relationships, credentialing, and contract management
- Manage vendor, service, and physician contracts
- Drive quality improvement, infection control, and patient experience initiatives
- Identify opportunities for operational improvement and service line growth
- Participate in performance reporting and operational reviews
- Experience in Outpatient Surgery Operations Leadership
- 2–5+ years of healthcare leadership experience
- Experience managing both clinical and non-clinical staff
- Full budget and P&L responsibility experience
- Strong operational and financial management skills
- Demonstrated leadership in surgical services or ASC settings
An experienced ASC Administrator or hospital surgical operations leader with outpatient surgery oversight and proven P&L accountability.
Education- Associate’s Degree required
- (Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field preferred)
