This role requires a proactive, entrepreneurial hospitality leader who brings fresh initiative and a desire to make continuous improvements across every level of the business. The General Manager leads a comprehensive operation which scales dynamically with major local events, conventions, and private buyouts; the ideal leader thrives on adaptability—turning high-volume event days into seamless, profitable shifts while strategically managing quieter periods.

- Drive Operational Excellence:
Bring a sharp eye for detail, implementing fresh processes and modernizing workflows across all front-of-house and back-of-house operations. - Master Staffing & Scheduling:
Write all master labor schedules, intelligently matching staffing levels to event calendars to maximize high-volume revenue while controlling costs during slower stretches. - Empower a Large Team:
Mentor and direct a multi-tiered leadership team while inspiring a floor and kitchen staff of nearly 70 hospitality professionals. - Manage Facilities & Culture:
Oversee the unique day-to-day needs of a historic property, preserving its distinct character while keeping the space fully operational, safe, and inviting. - Execute Private Events:
Collaborate with management and culinary teams to seamlessly host large-scale private events, buyouts, and group gatherings. - Financial Stewardship:
Monitor key P&L metrics and optimize labor, food, and beverage costs to ensure strong profitability across all revenue streams.
- Proven Track Record:
Experience managing operations with $4M+ in annual revenue, ideally within event-driven or high-traffic hospitality environments. - Owner’s Mindset: A background as a former owner or senior operator with the confidence, autonomy, and drive to make high-impact operational choices.
- Adaptability & Initiative:
Highly organized and proactive, with the ability to pivot strategies quickly based on changing volume and local event schedules. - Strong Leadership: A proven ability to coach management teams, build positive workplace culture, and maintain high service standards under pressure.
$85,000 – $115,000 per year + Competitive Benefits, Bonus, and PTO.
