Advocate Support Services is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to support our rapidly expanding behavioral health organization. This is a hands-on role responsible for attracting and hiring talent, coordinating onboarding, maintaining HR systems and records, supporting payroll and benefits administration, and ensuring compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements.

At Advocate, Human Resources is more than a support function. HR plays a critical role in strengthening our workforce, expanding service capacity, and helping us deliver high-quality care to the communities we serve.

Key Responsibilities Talent Acquisition
  • Manage full-cycle recruitment for clinical and non-clinical positions
  • Review applications, conduct candidate screenings, and coordinate interviews
  • Develop and maintain active recruiting pipelines
  • Track hiring metrics and identify staffing challenges
  • Ensure job postings remain competitive and compliant
Workforce Operations
  • Coordinate onboarding and employee orientation activities
  • Maintain accurate personnel records and HRIS data
  • Support payroll processing and benefits administration
  • Monitor employee credentials, certifications, and required training
  • Ensure HR documentation remains accurate, organized, and audit-ready
  • Assist with employee relations and workforce support initiatives
Qualifications
  • Experience in Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, Recruiting, Payroll, or a related field
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with HRIS platforms, preferably ADP Workforce Now
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Teams, and Share Point
  • Experience in healthcare, behavioral health, or human services preferred

Position Details

  • Monday-Friday | 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
  • Office-Based
