The System Administrators must provide Infrastructure Server and Sustainment services to enhance and complement High Performance Computing (HPC) sustainment capabilities across two sites and geographic locations, including the integration and management of the Exceptionally Controlled Information (ECI) data system. Server Ops team members and the Government monitoring service monitor systems (in some cases 24x7x365). All systems will be integrated and utilize Government monitoring services.

The Government monitoring service will monitor and report problems to the Team via Email/phone during business hours.

• Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems.
• Manage IT system infrastructure and related processes.
• Support day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for client/server/storage/network devices and mobile devices.
• Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution.
• Communicate status to agency management and internal customers and assist with dispatch and hardware problem resolution.
• Configure and manage Linux, Unix, and Windows operating systems and install/load OS software; troubleshoot and maintain integrity; configure network components; implement OS enhancements to improve reliability and performance.
• Provide ongoing support for escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers.
• Optimize system operations and resource utilization; perform system capacity analysis and planning.
• Provide in-depth trouble-shooting experience for IT systems and detailed analysis for escalated tickets to management and customers.
• Support the dispatch system and hardware problems and remain involved in the resolution process.

• B.S. in a technical discipline and 10 years of experience as a System Administrator in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity, or 10 years of experience in lieu of degree.
• DoD 8570 IAT II level certification required.
• TS/SCI with FSP required. Most recent poly in the last 7 years required.

Salary Range: $145k-$190k (Annually)*

* The range displayed above is a likely salary range for this position. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possible contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
