IT Analyst III; Active Secret Clearance

SAVA is seeking a dedicated IT professional to join our team as an IT Analyst III supporting the Army Test and Evaluation Command (ATEC) at Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG), Maryland. To apply, please submit your application today!

• Resolve customer inquiries and issues related to Information Technology (IT).
• Provide technical support to minimize disruptions in computer operations.
• Research, evaluate, implement solutions, and provide feedback on recurring support issues.
• Apply cybersecurity policies and practices rigorously in customer support services.
• Assist in the installation, configuration, and operation of IT equipment.
• Review user requirements for new hardware or software capabilities.
• Develop and update IT documentation for help desk use.
• Support wireless devices, including setup, training, troubleshooting, and repairs for Apple and Android devices.

• Active DoD Secret security clearance.
• Active DoD 8570 IAT Level I or II certification.
• Relevant education/experience:
• 1+ years with Master's degree
• 2+ years with Bachelor's degree
• 3+ years with Associate's degree
• 5+ years with no degree
• Experience deploying IT hardware like desktops, laptops, tablets, monitors, and printers.
• Experience configuring hardware, installing operating systems, and specialty software.
• Experience generating reports with Trouble Ticket software (e.g., BMC Track-IT).
• Experience backing up and restoring data and software.
• Troubleshooting network and wireless issues.
• Testing and repairing hardware and software malfunctions.
• Deploying office automation software.
• Installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and repairing desktops and peripherals.
• Resolving desktop issues remotely, managing accounts, and resetting passwords.
• Identifying network problems and collaborating with Tier II/III support.
• Troubleshooting WIFI, broadband devices, and VPN connectivity.
• Configuring and repairing Windows-based laptops and desktops, and supporting wireless services.
• Using remote desktop tools such as MCM.

This hybrid role requires candidates to reside within 1.5–2 hours of Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD for on-site IT support.

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in teams.
• Adherence to government policies and requirements.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
• Experience with vulnerability mitigation and patching tools like NESSUS.
• Previous support experience in a Test & Evaluation environment.

Salary Range: $60,000 - $65,000
