OverviewNakupuna Solutions is looking for a Salesforce Developer III. The Salesforce Developer is responsible for designing, coding, testing, and deploying customized Salesforce solutions that align with organizational and operational requirements. This role involves building Apex classes and triggers, developing Lightning Web Components (LWCs), integrating Salesforce with external systems, and supporting the overall Salesforce architecture. The developer will need to take ideas from concept through prototype, development, and testing.
They will work with Salesforce administrators to ensure that all solutions are scalable, maintainable, and compliant with industry and security standards.
- Design, develop, and maintain custom Apex classes, triggers, and Lightning Web Components.
- Configure and customize Salesforce objects, fields, page layouts, and record types.
- Implement automation using Flow, Process Builder, and custom Apex logic.
- Develop scalable solutions using Salesforce best practices and design patterns.
- Maintain documentation of all custom code and system changes.
- Build and maintain integrations with external applications using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, and web services.
- Manage Salesforce deployments and version control using tools such as Git, Copado, or Gearset.
- Support data migration efforts, including ETL processes and bulk data operations.
- Monitor system logs and troubleshoot integration and performance issues.
- Ensure compliance with security standards and coding best practices.
- Translate requirements into technical solutions/designs, prototypes.
- Provide development support for application environments, manage sandboxes, and work within release cycles to get applications to users in a timely manner.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues using input from other technical teams and customer personnel.
- Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field. Relevant work experience would be considered as a potential substitute. - Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I (required).
- Salesforce Certified Administrator.
- Additional certifications preferred:
- Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II
- Salesforce Certified Administrator
- 5+ years of Salesforce development experience.
- Proficiency in Apex, SOQL, SOSL, Lightning Web Components, and Visualforce.
- Strong experience in Salesforce integrations and middleware tools.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD, Dev Ops, and deployment pipelines.
- Proven track record of delivering scalable, high-quality Salesforce solutions.
- Experience in an agile development environment.
Active Secret security clearance required. Must be a U.S. citizen.
Physical Requirements- Ability to perform repetitive motions with the hands, wrists, and fingers.
- Ability to engage in and follow audible communications in emergencies.
- Ability to sit for prolonged periods at a desk and work on a computer.
The Nakupuna Companies use a market-based compensation strategy to ensure that our employees are compensated within applicable market ranges commensurate with multiple factors, including but not limited to the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability, organizational requirements, and position location. The projected compensation range for this position is $ to $ (annualized USD).
