We are seeking a skilled Dev Ops Engineer / Site Reliability Engineer to support the full development lifecycle of critical business platforms, including architectural design, deployment, and debugging. In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining release pipelines that enable fast yet secure delivery of software to production, as well as developing and enforcing version control best practices using Git, including branching and merging strategies.

You will serve as a technical lead within an Agile team, actively participating in all ceremonies such as planning, grooming, product demonstrations, and retrospectives. The role requires hands-on expertise in automating deployments across development, test, staging, QA, and production environments through scripting languages and automation toolkits, along with configuring infrastructure via tools such as Puppet and Ansible. Additional responsibilities include maintaining and upgrading documentation and tracking software such as Confluence and Jira, assisting with the design and maintenance of web service infrastructure, analyzing service stacks to recommend improvements, and identifying opportunities for process automation.

You will be expected to communicate effectively with stakeholders to bridge business requirements and technical implementation, provide operational support as needed, and always ensure confidentiality of data. Success in this role will require strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Ruby, Perl, and Java, as well as practical experience applying Dev Ops and Site Reliability Engineering methodologies. A holistic understanding of service development and deployment architecture is essential, along with experience setting up and configuring continuous integration environments leveraging containerization, serverless technologies, and Kubernetes.

• Must be fluent with Git.
• Strong knowledge of Linux and Linux environments (RHEL 6/7/8, CentOS).
• Experience with Windows system administration, system monitoring, instrumentation, resiliency and performance.
• Experience integrating Jenkins/Bamboo, Docker, and Kubernetes for automated deployment preferred.
• Experience with caching technologies (Memcache, Active MQ, Redis, APC, etc.).
• Experience with MySQL (Clusters, Replication, and Tuning) and Elasticsearch (Kibana a plus). Knowledge of security practices, networking protocols, firewalls, PCI compliance etc.
• Familiarity with software development life cycle models, agile, and Dev Ops programming methodologies.
• Fluent skills in object oriented programming and experience in at least one programming language such as Ruby, C, C++, GO, Python, or Java.
• Experience acquiring in-depth understanding of large complex software systems to isolate defects, reproduce defects, assess risk, and understand varied customer deployments.
• Ability to successfully work with customers, developers, testing, project management, and support staff.
