This opportunity supports an Enterprise IT contract with a team of SIGDEV Analysts, Systems Engineers, Junior Engineers, Telecommunication Technical Analysts and System Administrators, responsible for the architecture, engineering, integration, operations, maintenance and sustainment of multi-level Enterprise IT environment.
Job Description- We are looking for a Systems Engineer to perform remote maintenance and refresh efforts for 8 sites. You will perform daily interaction with partner entities and engage SMEs, perform data validation on software is deployed, submit DMRs for data flow path problems/fixes, configure new software updates, and perform troubleshooting.
- Experience in Linux and Ciena to support system administration, troubleshooting, loading software, and configuration of telecom network and software packages.
- Knowledge of cables and collection systems and how they work as well as understand data flow.
- Must be experienced in NiFi and Linux.
- No demonstrated experience is required.
- A Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
Position requires active Security Clearance with appropriate Polygraph
