Description:

The Technical Writer shall be responsible for creating clear, concise, and accurate documentation for the HPC organization's software products, services, and processes. This role requires strong writing skills, a solid understanding of technical concepts, and the ability to translate complex information into user-friendly content.

Qualifications:

Six (6) years' experience as a TW in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required. Bachelors degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Four (4) years of additional TW experience may be substituted for a bachelors degree. Position

Required Skills:

* Familiar with the Linux CLI including understanding of terminology used to provide related documentation
* Experience using technical writing tools such as MS Office Tool Suite, Mad Cap Flare, and Adobe Frame Maker
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail
* Experience implementing complex documentation practices within a software development environment
* Experience using Markup languages including HTML, XML, and Markdown
* Experience creating technical documentation for a wide audience
* Experience using the Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA, Confluence)
* Experience with Git Source Control System Position Desired

Skills:

* Familiar with Agile software development methodologies
* Knowledge of the software development lifecycle
