Scrum Master

Overview

A client of Insight Global is looking for a mid-level Scrum Master to join their team. This team is made up of BAs, testers, and developers that sit fully onsite in Annapolis, MD. The ideal candidate with have extensive knowledge in both Waterfall and Agile methodologies. You will be responsible for managing sprints, running daily team stand ups, overseeing planning sessions, creating and managing backlogs, and tracking reporting.

The ideal candidate will come from a web or application development background. Excellent communication and team collaboration will be critical for this opportunity.

Compensation: $60/hr – $68/hr exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 1st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.

• 3-5 years of experience working as a Scrum Master, IT PM, or Agile Delivery Coach
• Overseeing daily scrum activities in both Waterfall and Agile environments
• Experience running ceremonies, daily standups, and managing sprints
• Experience working Azure Dev Ops (ADO) and/or Jira
• Experience with general clean up and maintenance of systems
• Experience managing help desk boards and creating processes
• Background ideally is web/application development
