What You’ll Be DoingThe Software Integration Engineer will support the administration, maintenance, and operational excellence of the Platform-as-a-Service component of the CASA Compute Environment. This role is central to ensuring a secure, multi-tenant, high-performance Kubernetes platform that powers mission‑critical workloads across a Linux‑based infrastructure. The ideal candidate will bring deep experience with Linux tools, Bash and Python scripting, Docker or Podman, Kubernetes cluster administration, Helm Charts, automation with Ansible, and troubleshooting complex platform issues involving ingress, networking, storage, performance, and reliability.
This is a high‑impact opportunity to strengthen platform stability, scalability, security, and mission readiness.
- Experience using the Linux CLI and Linux suite of tools
- Experience developing scripts using Bash/Python
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker/Podman
- Demonstrated experience administrating and monitoring Kubernetes clusters
- Experience troubleshooting and resolving issues related to Kubernetes workloads (ingress, performance, networking, storage, etc.)
- Experience with IaC principles, concepts, and methodologies using automation tools including Ansible
- Experience writing, deploying, and maintaining Helm Charts
- Experience using Git for source code management, branching strategies, and team collaboration
- Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite (Jira, Confluence, etc.)
- Experience working in a Dev Ops environment that uses Agile principles and methodologies
- Experience using system monitoring tools such as Prometheus /Grafana
- Experience with or willingness to learn development of Python applications (REST services, microservices, etc.)
- CKA (Certified Kubernetes Administrator)
- Maintains a professional relationship with coffee and a recreational interest in witty exchanges
