You'll work closely with technical teams to ensure documentation is accurate, accessible, and aligned with operational needs.
What You'll Do
- Develop, review, and maintain technical documentation across:
- Software and systems engineering
- System operations and testing
- End-user and administrator guides
- Create clear installation, configuration, and "how-to" documentation for hardware and software systems
- Produce implementation guides and user-facing documentation for system capabilities
- Write and maintain code documentation to support development efforts
- Generate technical publications using inputs such as:
- Technical drawings
- Engineering notes
- SME consultations
- Document data structures, including:
- File formats
- Data definitions
- Data flows
- Write reports focused on cyber analytics and analytical findings
- Develop product-level reports for technical and operational stakeholders
- Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph (FS Poly preferred)
- Bachelor's degree in a technical or business discipline from an accredited college or university
- 8+ years of experience as a Technical Writer supporting programs/contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
- A Master's degree may replace 2 years of experience (minimum 6 years required)
- An additional 4 years of Technical Writer experience may substitute for a bachelor's degree
