Position: Senior Knowledge Manager, Engineer Tech Writing with Security Clearance
Responsibilities & Qualifications RESPONSIBILITIES The Senior Knowledge Manager, Engineer Tech Writing, is expected to be able to accomplish the following:
* Acquires , maintains an understanding of, and leverages knowledge about business activit ies on behalf of the organization.
* Provides the transfer of knowledge sharing, so that the organization know - how , information and experience is shared inside and (as appropriate) outside the organization with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
* Promotes knowledge sharing through the organization's operational business processes.
* Strengthens links between knowledge sharing and the information systems and improves integration among information systems in the organization to facilitate seamless exchange of information across systems.
* Promotes collaborative tools such as activity rooms to facilitate sharing of ideas and work among internal teams and external partners.
* Provide support for the establishment and nurturing of communities of practice, including workshops, one-on-one guidance, and troubleshooting.
* Shares experiences across communities of practice, business units, and networks on innovative approaches in knowledge sharing, including preparation of case studies.
* Helps to monitor and evaluate the knowledge sharing program, including external benchmarking and evaluation programs/opportunities .
* May supervise more junior team members.
* Maintains communications on knowledge sharing across the organization, participation in orientation and training sessions, and preparation of brochures/presentations.
* Familiarity with developing and delivering knowledge sharing programs and with the company's or customers information infrastructure.
* Experience in establishing effective partnerships within and outside the organization. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
* Active TS/SCI + CI Poly clearance
* BS, 10-12 years of relevant experience; MS, 8-10 years;
PhD, 5-7 years DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
* Certified Knowledge Manager (CKM) - KM Institute
* Certified Records Manager (CRM)
* AIIM Certified Information Professional (CIP)
* ITIL 4 Foundation (for service knowledge integration)
* Society for Technical Communication (STC) Certification
* Certified Professional Technical Communicator (CPTC)
* Plain Language Certification (federal communications alignment)
* UX Writing or Content Strategy Certification
* Microsoft 365 Certified:
Enterprise Administrator Expert
* SharePoint Administrator Certification
* Microsoft Power Platform Certification
* Atlassian (Confluence/Jira) Certification
* CompTIA Security+ CE `
