Our International Team consists of over 170 professionals delivering best quality solutions for our customers. We are seeking an organized, proactive, and customer-oriented Application Support Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will work with a variety of technologies to provide support for applications, ensuring efficient and stable operations. You will collaborate with team members, customers, and internal partners to resolve issues, improve processes, and deliver high-quality support solutions.
Responsibilities- Provide effective and timely resolution to straightforward application support issues, utilizing appropriate technologies and best practices;
- Collaborate with team members for guidance and input, ensuring quick problem resolution while adhering to support processes;
- Assist in the creation, improvement, and documentation of support processes and procedures to enhance operational efficiency;
- Resolve assigned tasks on schedule, ensuring minimal defects and recurring issues.
- Utilize a broad range of support tools and applications to provide solutions, applying the right tools for each specific issue;
- Make informed decisions regarding implementation trade-offs while performing support activities;
- Participate in team discussions and contribute to decisions related to support strategies, scoping, and prioritization;
- Learn and understand the business context and technologies behind the applications your team supports;
- Work closely with customers and internal partners to understand business impacts, and proactively identify opportunities or potential problems;
- Continuously improve support solutions to meet both customer needs and team objectives.
- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive experience for internal and external stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent work experience (preferred);
- Experience in application support or related fields;
- PDF Xchanger Pro, Smartsheet/Excel, GIS knowledge (good to have), GIMP, Adobe Ps, ChatGPT;
- Basic understanding of programing;
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
