Overview
We are seeking a Senior Knowledge Manager, Engineer Tech Writing, to join our Task Order proposal on the Defense Intelligence Agency’s Solutions for the Information Technology Enterprise III (SITE III). The Senior Knowledge Manager identifies, collects, synthesizes, organizes, and manages organizational knowledge in support of business units across an organization.

Responsibilities & Qualifications- Acquires, maintains an understanding of, and leverages knowledge about business activities on behalf of the organization.
- Provides the transfer of knowledge sharing, so that the organization know-how, information and experience is shared inside and (as appropriate) outside the organization with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
- Promotes knowledge sharing through the organization's operational business processes.
- Strengthens links between knowledge sharing and the information systems and improves integration among information systems in the organization to facilitate seamless exchange of information across systems.
- Promotes collaborative tools such as activity rooms to facilitate sharing of ideas and work among internal teams and external partners.
- Provides support for the establishment and nurturing of communities of practice, including workshops, one-on-one guidance, and troubleshooting.
- Shares experiences across communities of practice, business units, and networks on innovative approaches in knowledge sharing, including preparation of case studies.
- Helps to monitor and evaluate the knowledge sharing program, including external benchmarking and evaluation programs/opportunities.
- May supervise more junior team members.
- Maintains communications on knowledge sharing across the organization, participation in orientation and training sessions, and preparation of brochures/presentations.
- Familiarity with developing and delivering knowledge sharing programs and with the company’s or customers information infrastructure.
- Experience in establishing effective partnerships within and outside the organization.
- Active TS/SCI + CI Polyclearance
- BS, 10-12 years of relevant experience; MS, 8-10 years;
PhD, 5-7 years
- Certified Knowledge Manager (CKM) – KM Institute
- Certified Records Manager (CRM)
- AIIM Certified Information Professional (CIP)
- ITIL 4 Foundation (for service knowledge integration)
- Society for Technical Communication (STC) Certification
- Certified Professional Technical Communicator (CPTC)
- Plain Language Certification (federal communications alignment)
- UX Writing or Content Strategy Certification
- Microsoft 365 Certified:
Enterprise Administrator Expert - SharePoint Administrator Certification
- Microsoft Power Platform Certification
- Atlassian (Confluence/Jira) Certification
- CompTIA Security+ CE
