Role Overview

Link Solutions is seeking a Networking Administrator (Senior-Level) to support the Army Research Laboratory (ARL) Information Technology Modernization and Support Services program in Adelphi, MD. The position requires an understanding of enterprise network architecture, layer 2/3 switching, routing protocols, and network security standards.

• Monitor and manage network performance, availability, and security.
• Implement and enforce network security procedures and best practices to comply with DoD regulations.
• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot network-related software and hardware systems.

• U.S. Citizen with an active DoW Top Secret Clearance.
• Ten (10+) years of relevant experience or a BA/BS Degree with two (2+) years of experience in an IT enterprise network engineering role.
• IAT Level II Certification equivalent or higher per DoD 8570/DoD 8140 (CompTIA Security+ CE, CCNA Security, GICSP, GSEC, SSCP, etc.).
• Advanced knowledge of routing protocols (OSPF, BGP), security standards (802.1X, 802.11, MAC bridging), and media access control systems.
• Experience in network segmentation, traffic management, and secure network architecture design.
• In-depth knowledge of network tools, monitoring platforms, and documentation best practices.
