- Contribute to cutting edge development programs and designing new solutions.
- Innovate RF signal processing applications.
- Provide technical expertise for database design, development, implementation, information storage and retrieval, data flow and analysis.
- Develop relational and/or Object‑Oriented databases, database parser software, and database loading software.
- Project long‑range requirements for database administration and design.
- Develop a database structure that fits into the overall architecture of the system under development and makes tradeoffs among data volumes, number of users, logical and physical distribution, response times, retention rules, security and domain controls.
- Develop requirements from a project’s inception to its conclusion for specific business and IT subject‑matter areas.
- Assist with recommendations for, and analysis and evaluation of, systems improvements, optimization, development, and/or maintenance efforts.
- Translate a set of requirements and data into a usable document by creating or recreating ad hoc queries, scripts, and macros; update existing queries, create new ones to manipulate data into a master file; and build complex systems using queries, tables, Open Database Connectivity and database storage and retrieval using Cloud methodologies.
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph Clearance.
- Familiarity with relational and non‑relational databases including but not limited to Oracle, Postgres, MongoDB and Redis; experience with SQL and associated tools such as SQL Developer.
- Experience developing long‑ and short‑term requirements for database administration and design.
- Experience with Elasticsearch.
TS/SCI with Polygraph.
Pay & BenefitsThe annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington, or Washington DC is $104,500 – $184,115. This is a general guideline; final compensation may vary based on scope, responsibilities, experience, and market conditions.

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility. Schedules range from standard 40‑hour work weeks to condensed schedules offering additional time away from the office in addition to paid time off benefits.
Schedule for this position: 9x80 every other Friday off.
