As a cyber security professional you’ll protect the networks that citizens and the world depend on each minute – financial assets, healthcare information, critical infrastructure and more. You’ll work with cybersecurity experts on threat protection and proactive prevention, drawing on education and experience to keep the threats at bay.
ResponsibilitiesProvide a reliable, highly available platform that orchestrates the microservices of a modernized operational system utilizing cutting edge technologies.
- Develop Infrastructure as Code and scripting to automate tasks, provision managed services, and build tools (Python, Ansible, Terraform).
- Patch, harden, and maintain compliance of RHEL.
- Install, configure, and provide performance tuning using Kubernetes, Docker Compose, NiFi, and cloud native logging and metrics collection tools.
- Manage CI/CD pipelines to automate building, testing, and deploying code utilizing Git Lab runners and Argo CD.
- Manage commercial cloud computing platforms (AWS).
- Communicate and collaborate with other team members and stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.
- 14 years or more of professional experience; or 12 years of professional experience with a related Master’s degree.
- Active Top Secret clearance with polygraph.
2 of the following:
- Design, build, and maintain AWS infrastructure using Terraform (EC2, Lambdas, S3, SNS, SQS, Event Router, Athena, Step Functions).
- Understanding of AWS networking principles (VPCs, NATs, IP Gateway).
- Develop and manage Git Lab CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment processes.
- Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance and reliability.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure issues and ensure system uptime.
- Kubernetes experience with a focus on EKS, ECS, and/or Fargate.
TS/SCI with Poly SP.
Compensation & BenefitsAnnual base salary range (California, Massachusetts, New York, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington, Washington DC): $150,800 - $265,880.
