Linux System Administrator (Active TS/SCI Clearance with Full Scope Polygraph)
J&T Business Consulting – Annapolis, MD, US. Full time on site position.
Responsibilities- Provide support for the implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems.
- Tier 1 (Help Desk) problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution.
- Manage daily configuration and operation of IT systems.
- Assist users in accessing and using IT systems.
- Tier 1 and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution.
- Support day‑to‑day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution for client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc.
- Escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers.
- Optimize system operations and resource utilization; perform capacity analysis and planning.
Skills & Qualifications
- Five (5) years of experience as a Systems Administrator in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university.
- Five (5) years of additional Systems Administrator experience may substitute for a bachelor’s degree.
- System Administration experience with CentOS 7, Rocky 9, and RHEL 9.
- Upgrading servers, workstations, and laptops.
- Experience with Customer Secure the Enterprise (STE) tasks.
- Experience with the Customer data transfer process.
- Hardware installation experience (servers/workstations).
- Linux Active TS/SCI security clearance with a current polygraph.
