As a lead Systems Administrator on our team, you’ll guide your team as it provides insights through monitoring and performance management. Your system administration expertise will be vital as you evaluate opportunities for improvement in a critical network. You’ll help your team better understand the network by turning metrics into information and explaining their meaning and identify opportunities for modernization.
We focus on growing as a team, so you’ll share your expertise through leadership and mentoring as you help the team work through challenges and develop new methodologies.

You Have:
Experience as tier 3 support for a GOTS software product
Experience as triage support between operations and a software development team
Experience testing software and aiding in configuration management and software pipeline
Experience with Kubernetes, Jenkins, Nexus, Docker, and Nifi
Experience in administering Linux or Unix systems
TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of experience as a systems administrator, or 15+ years of experience as a systems administrator in lieu of a degree
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $ (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
