An established, well-respected, and busy Annapolis-based lawfirm actively seeks an experienced Partner-Level Labor & Employment Attorney to join its team. The ideal candidate will possess at least 10-12years of management-side litigation, counseling, and advising experience across various Maryland and federal Labor & Employment matters. Candidates must be licensed to practice in Maryland.
The hired attorney will provide expert legal counsel and strategic advice on various state and federal labor and employment matters.
Representative responsibilities will include developing and implementing effective strategies for resolving labor and employment disputes in various state and federal administrative agencies and tribunals, including the stateand federal courts of Maryland, advising and counseling clients on employment-related policies and agreements, conducting and overseeing internal investigations, and ensuring management-side client compliance with relevant state, federal, and local labor laws and regulations.
Demonstrated experience and expertise in managing complex employment litigation cases is essential, along with a comprehensive understanding of labor and employment laws and regulations at the federal,state, and local levels. Exceptional writing and communication skills are required, as well as the ability to handle multiple priorities within a busy,engaging, and collegial team-oriented practice environment. Candidates should possess at least $250K(+) of portable client business to be considered for this opportunity.
