Linen Service Attendant

Position Objective

To inventory, store and distribute clean linen to designated areas. To support a high standard of patient care throughout the facility by providing the best customer service.

• Receives clean linen deliveries daily, distributes to designated areas, and stores per established standards.
• Maintains the assigned par levels of linen in the stock room and in designated daily used areas. Notifies supervisor of needed linen items and discrepancies in linen deliveries.
• Removes soiled, stained, and damaged linen from circulation for repairs, rewash or discarding.
• Maintains work areas and equipment in a clean and presentable manner according to established guidelines and in accordance with Joint Commission standards.

• Ability to read, follow oral and written instructions, count, and distinguish linen items and sizes.
• Demonstrates a professional approach towards customer service.

Pay Range: $17.50 – $18.50 USD
