Physical Plant and Equipment Technician

Repair, calibrate, and maintain all types of basic clinical and ASC Equipment and facility items and technologies, devices, instruments, and systems. Inspect, install, and provide preventive maintenance of general clinical equipment.

What You Will Do:

• Repair, install, maintain, calibrate, and inspect a diverse range of physical plant and therapeutic and diagnostic biomedical instrumentation and equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance and electrical safety testing of physical plant, clinical equipment, devices, and systems.
• Diagnose and correct system and equipment malfunctions.
• Maintain documentation on new equipment, inspections, and equipment repairs and failures.
• Schedule and oversee third-party repair as necessary.
• Provide technical assistance and instruction on equipment operation and maintenance to personnel.
• Perform related duties as assigned.

What You Will Bring:

An associate degree in electronics is desirable, as well as a minimum of 3 years' experience in the repair and maintenance of physical plant, and medical equipment. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted.
