Perform multi-pass, all position fillet and butt welds using SMAW and GTAW;
Fuse inserts and weld various materials such as carbon steel, stainless steel, and copper nickel pipes;
Use of fillet gauges, butt gauges, and a six inch scale;
Work in shipboard, sub-assemblies, ladders, and staging environments;
Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations relevant to shipbuilding industry
