DCCA is the prime contractor for this Government program that delivers important technical solutions and products using emerging technologies for processing significantly large amounts of data. Program technical areas include commercial cloud technologies, high performance computing, and enterprise architecture. The program is tactically important to the National Security of the United States and the work on these missions are frequently recognized for their results.

Job Responsibilities
  • Contributes to the development of sections of systems engineering documentation such as System Engineering Plans, Initial Capabilities Documents, Requirements specifications, and Interface Control Documents.
  • Manages system requirements and derived requirements to ensure the delivery of production systems that are compatible with the defined system architecture(s) – Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF), Service‑oriented Architecture.
  • Assists with the allocation of the same to individual hardware, software, facility, and personnel components.
  • Coordinates the resolution of action items from Configuration Control Board (CCB) meetings, design reviews, program reviews, and test reviews that require cross‑discipline coordination.
  • Performs analysis of technical alternatives for a project and makes preliminary recommendations.
Requirements
  • Will correlate events/telemetry visible in dashboards to system issues.
  • Rationalize and document system behavior in the presence of system issues; derive insights from the data.
  • Design experiments to isolate and characterize specific types of behavior.
  • Collaborate with analytic developers to capture needs for analytics.
  • Must have Linux, experience designing technical experiments, an analytic mindset, understand system telemetry and its correlation on system operation, failure rate and reliability analysis of components, and clearly must have experience with complex HPC systems.
  • A High School Diploma or GED plus 24 years of general systems engineering experience.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline plus 20 years of systems engineering experience.
  • A Master’s degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline plus 18 years of systems engineering experience.
  • A PhD in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline plus 18 years of systems engineering experience.
Salary and Benefits

The proposed salary range for this position in Maryland is $180,000 to $240,000. Final salary will be determined based on various factors.
