Overview
Fello supports people with disabilities to live the lives they choose. Employment plays an integral role in our lives – and everyone at every level benefits from the support, coaching, and feedback you need to do your job well. As an Employment Advisor, you will focus on job coaching, skill building, and job retention for the people you support.
As an Employment Advisor, your primary responsibilities will be ensuring job goals are developed and implemented, providing transportation or follow‑along supports to people who are working, and facilitating virtual and in‑person job coaching sessions. The Employment Advisor is an encouraging, trusted guide for the people they support, always ready to boost people’s self‑esteem and self‑confidence as they work toward the goals in their person‑centered plans.
QualificationsThis position requires a high school diploma or equivalent along with at least two years of experience working with people with I/DD, though having a bachelor’s degree and experience with workforce development programs are pluses. The candidate must have a valid driver’s license with no significant violations as well as basic computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Word and Outlook.
