Position Objective:
Under the direction and supervision of the Lead Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner (APP), the Cardiac Surgery APP will perform all required clinical duties, including patient evaluation and management in the preoperative, postoperative, and outpatient settings as well as performing ICU bedside procedures (e.g. arterial line and central line insertion), endovascular vein harvesting, and first assisting cardiac surgical procedures (e.g. CABG, valve surgery, aorta surgery).

Educational/Experience Requirements:
- Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant School or graduate of an accredited school of nursing as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner.
- Six (6) years of related Cardiac Surgery clinical experience as a PA or ACNP.
Required License/Certifications:
- Current License as a Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner.
