About the Role

Part‑Time Weekend CNA. Mandatory Friday 9am to 2pm, Saturday & Sunday 9am to 5pm when needed.

As a Part‑Time Weekend CNA, you play a crucial role in delivering high‑quality patient care during weekend shifts. Your primary responsibility is to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients in Arundel Senior Program Residents. You collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive and compassionate care tailored to each patient’s needs. You must maintain accurate patient records and communicate effectively with patients and their families, contributing to improved patient outcomes and an enhanced healthcare experience.

• Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor patient progress and respond to changes in their condition.
• Educate patients and their families about health management and post‑discharge care.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure coordinated and effective care.

• Strong clinical assessment abilities to evaluate patient conditions and determine appropriate interventions.
• Effective communication skills for educating patients and collaborating with the healthcare team.
• Time‑management skills to balance multiple patient needs and prioritize tasks during busy weekend shifts.
• Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) for maintaining accurate documentation and facilitating seamless information sharing.
• Preferred:
  Specialized certifications to enhance expert care in specific areas.

• Current CNA license in the state of practice.
• Associate’s degree in Nursing;
  Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

• Experience in a hospital or clinical setting.
• Certification in a specialty area (e.g., Critical Care, Pediatrics).
• Previous experience working weekends or in a part‑time capacity.

Salary: $25 – $25 an hour
