Registered Nurse - LTC

Registered Nurse – LTC, Baltimore, MD

Full-time, night shift (7:00 pm – 7:30 am) at Hall 2, Levin Dale Hospital. Salary $34.33–$53.21 per hour (experience based).

Provides safe, age-appropriate patient care and functions as an advisor and resource for patients and their families as a member of the patient care team. Conducts and documents initial and ongoing assessments and gathers data relevant to the patient/family’s individual needs. Develops and documents a plan of care for selected patients/families. Implements, documents, and provides care and education based on the plan of care.

Evaluates and documents outcomes of nursing practice.

• Formal working knowledge equivalent to an Associate’s degree (2 years of college).
• Knowledge of a specialized field.
• American Heart Association CPR card.
• Maryland Registered Nurse license.
• Microsoft Office Suite, basic computer skills, Cerner, Synquest Standard, office equipment, medical terminology.
• Experience with nursing process skills based on the MD Nurse Practice Act.
• Critical thinking skills.
• Proficiency with medical equipment.
• Less than one year of experience.
