Ginger Cove is looking for a confident, compassionate RN to join our leadership team as a Full-Time RN Supervisor.

As an RN Supervisor, you'll have the opportunity to lead nursing staff, support clinical decision-making, and make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents—all while working a consistent Monday-Friday evening schedule with no weekend requirement.

What You'll Do:

As an RN Supervisor, you'll serve as a key clinical leader during the evening shift, providing guidance and support to nursing staff while ensuring residents receive safe, compassionate, and high-quality care.

  • Provide leadership, guidance, and support to nursing staff throughout the shift.
  • Receive shift reports and respond appropriately to changes in resident condition or care needs.
  • Conduct regular rounds to ensure residents' needs are being met and care is delivered appropriately.
  • Assess resident conditions, establish nursing priorities, and work closely with Charge Nurses and unit staff to ensure those priorities are achieved.
  • Monitor the safe administration of medications and treatments.
  • Ensure adequate staffing throughout the shift and communicate staffing needs to Nursing Management.
  • Evaluate the delivery of nursing care and provide coaching, guidance, and support to nursing staff.
  • Support staff with clinical decision-making and respond appropriately to changes in resident condition.
  • Communicate regularly with Nursing Management regarding resident and employee concerns.
  • Support residents and families with professionalism, compassion, and respect.
  • Promote resident independence, dignity, safety, and quality of life.
  • Ensure nursing practices comply with Ginger Cove policies and procedures and all applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement.
  • Complete required compliance, HIPAA, and annual training.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Job Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing;
    Master's degree preferred but not required.
  • Current license as a Registered Nurse in the State of Maryland.
  • American Association of Nurse Assessment Coordination (AANAC) certification required.
  • CPR/ First Aid certification or ability to obtain prior to employment.
  • At least three years' experience in supervisory or managerial role required.
  • Knowledge and experience working with senior communities in a long-term care facility.
  • Experience caring for residents with Alzheimer's and/ or dementia.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communications skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced setting, providing excellent service delivery to residents, families and staff.
