About the Role:

The Engineer I, QA (Complaints) is responsible for supporting complaint handling and post-market surveillance activities for an assigned product portfolio. This role owns the monitoring of product quality performance through complaint trend analysis, signal evaluations, and investigation approvals, ensuring compliance with corporate policies and regulatory requirements. The Engineer I collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify quality risks, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and support actions that enhance product quality, patient safety, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead assigned monthly complaint signal evaluations (SEF), coordinating with reviewers, approvers, and data analytics partners.
  • Approve complaint investigations aligned with quality and corporate expectations.
  • Maintain complaint backlog within defined performance targets.
  • Support complaints review boards activities by delivering required analyses and documentation on time.
  • Execute and support NCEPs/CAPAs and complaint-related compliance activities.
  • Contribute to Product Transfer Projects (PTPs), NPIs, and lifecycle initiatives as applicable.
  • Act as product SME well-established products.
  • Participate in complaint reduction initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Support development and execution of PMQA or divisional projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to resolve quality and complaint-related issues.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
  • English proficiency: B2–B2+ (70–89%)
  • Data analysis and technical documentation capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in medical devices, pharmaceutical, or regulated industry.
  • Presentation Skills
  • Formal Training on statistical and quality techniques desirable, ASQ Certified, Knowledge of Six Sigma, APQP or similar tools.
