Become a Part‑Time HP Retail Sales Associate

Pay: $18.50 per hour

Schedule:

Up to 15 hours per week. Saturday and Sunday preferred. Flexible Friday options may be available based on location needs.

About the Position

HP and 2020 Companies have partnered to hire an HP Retail Sales Associate in your local big‑box retailer(s). In this role you will assist in driving sales and creating buzz and excitement around the HP brand and products. You will demonstrate products to customers, tailor demonstrations to their ideal needs, and build rapport with customers as well as professional relationships with store management and employees.

Day‑in‑the‑Life

& Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate HP products at Best Buy.
  • Engage and build rapport with customers to create a memorable experience.
  • Maintain professional relationships with management and staff within the assigned store.
  • Train retail store associates on HP products and services.
  • Maintain displays for cleanliness, functionality, and demo‑readiness.
  • Report and provide competitive insights.
  • Sell products and services in a retail store, kiosk, and/or event environments.
  • Maintain professional interaction with both customers and fellow employees.
  • Meet or exceed personal sales goals on a monthly basis.
  • Courteously welcome customers and offer assistance.
  • Direct customers by escorting them to displays; assess needs and suggest products to fit those needs.
  • Advise customers by providing information on products and services.
  • Help customers make selections by building confidence.
  • Accurately document and report sales.
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Ensure work station/kiosk is clean, well‑organized, functional and presentable at all times.
  • Submit all paperwork completely and accurately.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Six months of prior sales, retail, telecom or marketing experience.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of products and services.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal and problem‑solving skills.
  • Impeccable integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced, team environment.
  • Must be available to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
  • Ability to maintain customer confidentiality.
