Vans: Seasonal Sales Associate - Annapolis Mall

Position Overview

The Seasonal Sales Associate works at a Vans retail store, serving as the brand’s face and delivering excellent customer experience, sales, visual merchandising, and operational support during the peak season.

• Deliver personalized customer engagement through genuine interactions.
• Build sales by maintaining a customer–centric mindset and modeling selling behaviors.
• Share product, brand, and community knowledge to enhance the customer experience.
• Achieve individual and team sales goals using available resources and tools.
• Assist in visual merchandising, product replenishment, and maintaining brand presentation standards.
• Perform cashier duties and support loss prevention initiatives as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and customer–ready store environment.
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
• Model inclusive behavior that respects diverse backgrounds and experiences.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 0–1 year of relevant retail or customer service experience (preferred).
• Ability to genuinely and comfortably engage with a diverse group of customers.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Team player with ability to adapt to changing business needs.
• Willingness to learn and share product and brand knowledge.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Proficient computer skills including basic retail systems and applications.
• Physical ability to stand, move, bend, reach, squat, climb ladders, and lift light to moderate weight for extended periods.

$16.00 - $21.12 USD per hour
