Position Overview
The Seasonal Sales Associate works at a Vans retail store, serving as the brand’s face and delivering excellent customer experience, sales, visual merchandising, and operational support during the peak season.
Responsibilities- Deliver personalized customer engagement through genuine interactions.
- Build sales by maintaining a customer–centric mindset and modeling selling behaviors.
- Share product, brand, and community knowledge to enhance the customer experience.
- Achieve individual and team sales goals using available resources and tools.
- Assist in visual merchandising, product replenishment, and maintaining brand presentation standards.
- Perform cashier duties and support loss prevention initiatives as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and customer–ready store environment.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
- Model inclusive behavior that respects diverse backgrounds and experiences.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- 0–1 year of relevant retail or customer service experience (preferred).
- Ability to genuinely and comfortably engage with a diverse group of customers.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Team player with ability to adapt to changing business needs.
- Willingness to learn and share product and brand knowledge.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Proficient computer skills including basic retail systems and applications.
- Physical ability to stand, move, bend, reach, squat, climb ladders, and lift light to moderate weight for extended periods.
$16.00 - $21.12 USD per hour
