Cashier; Part-Time

Job Summary

As a Cashier you will be the face of our company, assisting customers, promoting products, and providing excellent service.

• Proactively engage and make a connection with customers.
• Ask questions and listen to customer needs.
• Direct customers to merchandise and inform them about promotions and mobile offers.
• Provide premier customer service.
• Build positive, inclusive, respectful relationships and take accountability for actions and outcomes.

• Maintain check‑out area appearance.
• Move and restock bags, packaging materials, and labels.

• Interact with customers to ensure they find everything they need.
• Make suggestions about latest trends and current promotions based on individual customer needs.
• Process cash, exchanges, discounts, gift cards, credit cards, debit cards, and cash handling using a point‑of‑sale system, including counting money and returning accurate amounts.
• Maintain change funds and account for sales receipts.
• Complete various forms, reports, and reconciliation paperwork.

• Maintain merchandise, complete inventory processes, and ensure items are properly checked in and accurately ticketed.
• Participate in periodic inventories.

• Adhere to assigned work schedule and complete assignments accurately.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Product knowledge.
• Knowledge of point‑of‑sale systems.
• Retail or relevant work experience preferred but not required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills and ability to read, write and interpret instructional documents.
• Basic math skills, including making change in American monetary units.
• Ability to multi‑task, remain flexible, and work as part of a team.

This position involves constant walking, talking, hearing, reaching, grabbing, and standing continuously for at least two consecutive hours. Tasks may include stooping, kneeling, crouching, climbing ladders, and lifting 25–50 lbs. Work is primarily indoor but may be performed outdoors depending upon location.

Available to work a variety of hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
